I was the kid who hated writing about myself

Or telling how good I am at something.

The worst was when I had to describe myself

but really it’s nothing.

I am average 

I get okay grades

my skill in sports give me no leverage 

being average it makes me want to put on my shades.

I do not lack confidence

im just not special

when needed I can hold dominance

but I just can’t wrestle.

Im tired of having to say who I am.

When I’m really just cruising by

not leaving a mark wherever I swam

I am just me sigh
