Just A Little More

Hate fills our hearts,

Just as a turkey dinner does our stomach.

As our love for one another dwindles,

Just like sand in an hour glass,

Why, whose got the power to change?

We do.

Like a wolf I'd howl across the land,

Getting all to spread message.

Where has the love gone?

Is it hiding in a dark cave beyond,

Or could it be being swallowed by a monster below?

Maybe it's zipped up inside of all of us,

Strangling to take just one breath.

With love we would exeprience unity.

And with unity, brotherhood.

We'd no longer have different regions, nations, countries and states,

But rather be a world, all in one.

Shaped as a heart,

And yearning on.
