Journey into Agnosticism

Born in Christ,
Raised in religion,
Never have I known a life without faith.
My parents are believers;
My grandparents were as well.
Though in my early years my faith was great,
As I grew, my belief began to waver.
Never could I fathom telling the truth.
Never could I share my doubt with my family.
I go to church with my parents
I put on my mask of faith on Sunday morning.
Yet when I’m alone I am left to ponder,
If God is alive, where has he wandered to?
Born in Christ,
Raised in religion,
I’ve journeyed so far from faith.
