Journey
It was time to go
For I heard the pop of the bow
With a seconds notice came a bright light
In the midst of this dark night
A voice boomed of a man
For then my legs started to run
I ran to the voice calling me
Sonali, Sonali, Sonali
Then next to me I caught sight
I caught sight, of a creature with such a look of fright
I turned my head away
With a bit of dismay
I then started to look up and down
And I saw some people covered in lace
Yet all of them seemed like they’d rather be in any other race
Then I saw some in a tight place
With nothing but grins across their face
I started looking to my left and to my right
And then I caught sight
I caught sight of such pure and clean air
Lingering above those who decided to share
A stench crept up to my nose
And I turned my head towards the source
And then I saw this air
It was lingering above those who decided not to care
Then all of a sudden from behind me came a huge gust of wind
And my legs took off at full speed
I knew my legs were taking me to a place unforeseen
I a place I had never been
Around me I saw strangers with blanked eyes
As I heaved a heavy sigh
There were other with blood shed
And other that looked as if poisoned by lead
On the path I saw some people in the front
While in the back others started to grunt
I was unsure of what to make of it all
For it felt like my head had hit a wall
I closed my eyes to take a blink
Then all of sudden my arms and hair flew up and I started to sink
I landed with a soft thump
As my throat started to grow a lump
The end was near
Said my level of fear
My eyes were still shut tight
For I was trembling with fright
The place was breath silent
And then I had to face it
I
Was
Dead
