When I think about you it hurts

Not just emotionally but mentally and physically

My soul cries out loud

While my eyes remain dry

My heart breaks one more time

While my mouth still smiles

My brain runs over the messages one more time

While I continue my conversation

While anyone is around nothing is wrong

But when no ones around I cry until there’s no tears left

I sit on the shower floor

Expressing everything I’ve kept in all day

I lay in the bed

Screaming into my pillow because I can’t handle it anymore

The worst part is knowing you’re fine

You don’t cry at night

You don’t scream until you’re horse

You aren’t broken because you broke me
