It Falls

Sat, 10/26/2013 - 16:48 -- Sabelle

Location

It falls

and breaks

Into a song of phoenix.

A crumpled paper underfoot,

Silver squids in the fleeing tree.

Shoes on cats, one two three,

I am not dead- maybe.

Striped rainbow gummybears laughing,

Liquid gold pattering through the meadow.

The smiling picture mounted on the horse,

The tortilla that holds my heart.
