I hear these words everyday

I try to elude them in every way

Most of them are replete with lies

And some are the truth I can’t defy

I try to debunk all of these words

But it’s too late once they have been heard

It’s a phenomenon that’s what I say

These words make my life so gray

And these words are just like a conjecture

But when heard from a friend it feels like a lecture
