This Isn't All

Fri, 05/23/2014 - 13:25 -- RJLite

I don't know what got me in this position.

I've done my work and went through the transitions.

If anything, I should be rolling in commissions.

But I'm not.

I'm stuck in a place that I know little about.

I've kept my vows and stayed devout.

Through the hardships I've gone throughout,

I should be praised, but I'm not.

It's difficult to say where I've been and what I've done.

At this point, it's hard to crack even a pun.

Many people long before this would've picked up a gun,

But I didn't and I'm not.

This has been so tough, so rough on me.

I'm right on the cliff's edge of victory.

Even though I've been stretched to insanity.

I'm almost through it and I'm not.

However tall, I know this won't be all.

I need to keep on the ball and rolling down the hall.

Through my struggles I'm keeping to my call.

I'm not going to stall. I'm not.
