Incomplete

I was probably too excited to meet you. I've

sat on this bench for the past two hours,

here, just daydreaming

and secretly hoping you'd be early too.

I met loads of people. One lady

cried when I handed her a daisy crown I wove

because her husband had just left her and she felt devoid

of hope. I'm lucky I don't have to feel that way.

You are going to complete me.
