I'm afraid of the monsters in life,

the ones that chase you down,

the ones that  make everyday seem like you're going to drown,

the ones that fat-shame you when your wearing a gown,

I'm afraid of the monsters in life,

the ones that yell and fight,

the ones that leave and comes back anytime,

the ones that gets away with commiting a crime,

i'm afraid of the monsters in life,

the ones that try ruling other people's lives,

the ones that seem unstoppable,

the ones we can and will oneday stand up to.
