If There Was No Sadness

If I had the chance

I'd make it so no one was ever sad.

I've been at rock bottom,

hating myself,

wishing I was dead.

And I would never wish that upon anyone.

Not even my worst enemy.

I would wipe out depression,

anxiety,

anything that prevents you from  being happy.

Because if you're downtrodden by your sadness,

you'll never get anywhere,

and that will only make you feel worse.

If there was no sadness,

people would feel like

they're worth more.

And when you feel like you're worth it,

everything else seems to fall into place,

because you're proud of yourself.

And that's all I want.

Is to be proud of myself

and make something of my life.

And I'm sure everyone else that has ever been sad

would agree.
