Ice Princess

Sun, 10/12/2014 - 15:50 -- skurko

As I push from side to side,
I execute the perfect glide.

Stroking, curving left to right,
On a blanket of glassy white.

With just one tweak of my blade,
I can fly into the air unafraid.

As I land on the polished ice, all I hear,
Is a roaring, thunderous cheer.

With one more step, I start to spin,
And finish with a brilliant grin.

As I leave my precious ice,
I realize, nothing else will suffice.
