you were always so mean.

I could only take so much.

But this promise, I failed.

And talk like you do.

I heard it so much,

 It had to come true.

Your words were the same.

They always repeated,

like it was a game.

You spoke to me with hatred.

Even though I was your little girl.

Everything you said,

made my head whirl.

You were always so mad,

If I didn't do it right.

You were my dad

and I tried with all my might.

But to you I was always wrong.

You put me to shame.

Even with tears and screams

I was left with pain.

So I promised myself I would never

turn out like you.

I've made mistakes

and you have too.

But I will fix them.

I have time.

Even if I don't in your eyes,

I will make myself shine.
