I decided 'I'll watch one of your videos!'

And it all started at that

I watched you perform

In interviews, on stage, in music videos

I thought you were amazing

I still think you are crazy

Crazy good, not crazy bad

Your videos made me laugh and smile

I think to myself

What if we were friends?

I would love to hang out with you!

But the difference between you and me

Is I am a stranger while you're a celebrity

I will never know the you who isn't on camera

I probably won't make it to one of your live shows

You've probably never heard of me

But I freaking love your shows!

What if we could hang out

Like best friends do?

What if you knew me like I knew you?

What if I wrote a book and you liked it

And you decided 'We should meet!'

What a change in my life that would be!

Don't confuse this with a lovestruck fan

I am not interested in that

I just sometimes wish we could be good friends

And have a laugh

Maybe play games and drink sodas

Like normal people do
