I Dare God

2016 was by far the worst year ever.

Try it, I dare you to convince me

That I must see more than just negatives.

But I know now, how your world works and

Your sometimes-cruel ways made me question you,

I mean it my God.

You took my friend Noah.

You took my friend Johnathan.

You even took a little baby’s father Nick,

And with that came a relentlessly suffocating anxiety.

You almost took my ability to play soccer,

Yes.

But you can never take my strong will.

You can give me all the hardships you want,

And yet again I will show you why

I say 2016 was by far the best.

Just kidding that one was a joke, really

I know it has been the worst yet.

Now read this from bottom to top.
