I Am A Spirit of Inquiry

A leap of faith she is,
never knowing what,
new territories and boundaries.

She plunges and judges every move
She has a need to know everything,
a need to love what blossoms in the dark
and dies in the light.

She wants to read every page,
line to line analyzing to admire every word.

Fear takes great tolls on opportunities.
Often, we think too much and feel too less,
take precautions too often,
prevent her from being.

Can you hear her?
Do you feel her pounding her way out?
It's the way you look at them
with such intense interest.
She's been waiting to be let out,
waiting to explore the unknown.
