I am Rubin Hurricane Carter

Location

Recumbent here I lie

Can't help, but wonder why

Envious Am I,

Of a cloud that's passing by

Maybe cause it's free

Away from society

who's metaphorically

got me shackled at my knee.

When will humanity realize

they will never be free.

When society has us

metaphorically shackled at the knee.

People called me mad,

but for me it is a craft.

My mind is free

away from society,

Never could they take that away from me.

The system is a chaotic chain

It deprived me of my life

But finally I am once again,

 innocent and free.
