I Am Regalia

We are put on this earth to learn, to fight

to become who we are through everlasting days and nights.

This process we feel, seek and see

can only be described as a character molding.

A lump of coal becomes a diamond

when put through tests and pressured in fire.

Diamonds are what they are, because of the process that caused pain

as well as we, through our everlasting nights and days.

I Am Regalia, an emblem of royalty

my tests and trials may have hurt

in the same way a lump of coal is pained through fire and flames that burst.

But it has made me who I am

that is why I am regalia on this day that I stand.

I Am Regalia
