I Am My Name

If you know me

You know my name

My name is me

We are the same.

It wasn't just picked

By coincidence

My name is me

And I am it.

I didn't become it's equivalent

I was born into it

Common, yet unknown

Creative and ambivalent.

Never forgotten,

However often sometimes neglected

While being as smooth as cotton,

Beautiful, and unexpected

My name is me

Yet more perfect than I

Because no other name is more fitting

Than the one which is mine.
