I am of men

I am of men and earth.

I am of women and worth.

What I know now is now.

All the what's, whys and hows.

What I knew then is then.

The time before men.

I wish I could have known

what is now shown.

I wish I could teach

what is now out of reach.

But now I am just me.

That and a little more you see.

Not everything was for not

for there is that that is still sought.

A couple of years of maturing

does the soul a good nurturing.

Now I am more than before

and still growing some more.

No matter the regret I possess

nor of and mess.

Looking past the fine print.

To the point where I got the hint.

"Staying the same is commotion,

change is motion."
