I’ve been exhausted in

I’ve been exhausted in vain

Becoming a waste of space

Growing used to verbal abuse

For a minimum wage

Most days I’m running on a false energy

Constantly anticipating a crash

And all that’s changed

Is that it can be hard to get through a day

Without an indulgent of some sort

Me with my coffee

And your fancy cigarettes

We’ll indulge all too often

So that our smiles come easy

Through smoke outside the café

And tonight you’ll be staying warm

From the liquid fire in your belly

As we learn to live out every moment

Just a little bit dizzy

Vices heavily outweigh virtues these days

These seven sins that will sweep us away
