Hurricane
Pludering towards the shores
the hurricane rises higher,
each wave more fierce then that last.
The sea green water churns
and those on land fear the damage it may do,
they hide and prepare for the hurt yet to come.
The loss, the pain, the relief.
You are my hurricane.
I watch as our pulses rise high like the storm,
as every moment together grows more and more breathtaking.
Those eyes, like the water,
so powerful, so full of life, magnificent.
You may be a storm
but I will watch as your waves crash over me
and I will wash away with you.
I do not know what the outcome of this hurricane may be
or where it may go
but I will ride the waves til they reside.
