A Hunger for Change
A grain of rice
A grain of sand
How can this be a promised land What's this century When people just like you and me Across the city, down the street Like people in Sahara heat Both need to be fed Can't even get their daily bread There's no thirds, seconds or firsts Each world is full of hunger and thirsts Food deserts in the topography Made by wealth, not geography Poor is universal But enough food is the reversal What seems a world away You may run into every day
