How real is forever

Everyone leaves.
No one dwells past what they have to.
They run never thinking of you.
Leaving you with no one left to turn to.
If a color was you, then you would be blue.
For the pain and suffering that you have been put through. For the nights you've gazed at the moon as if it were some tune that soothed you. Or some fine light to guide you. To guide you from all of the lies and gentle cries. To a place where nothing not even pain resides... just you with nothing left to hide, not forever just better.
No storms because there is no more weather. No more questions on how real is forever. Because you realize now with this light that forever is never. So you no longer seek it but continue to strive for better. Because overcoming the idea of forever has always been my greatest endeavor.
