How did I know?

Location

Age what place to be.

My peers but youngins

Here I am trying desperately

to find a place among them

How did I know the teens to twenty-two

were my constituents.

As you see I did not procrastinate.
When I seen the number of badges it took to get verified.

Now I  feel mortified.

Well not exactly but silly

I went to page fourteen like you suggested in the journal

of the Library of Congress and there I found the age requirements

Oh how did I know not until then.

Should I stop because I am over the age of twenty-two

or should I happily continue.

I am no published poet or even seasoned.

How did I know but I can share it all with  you my dears.

I would like to get a badge and feel like a sage.

You can learn a lot from age.

The poets before all of us were full of wisdom

With their words they built a kingdom.

Amuse me and let me do one more poem and I will quietly go away.

I  would love to see the badge today.
