at one time, education was an option

now, education is essential that opens up windows of oportunities

Without an education, might as well as work at mcdonald's

wait a minute, now you need a high school diploma or a GED

that should tell you the rules of the game is changing

so you either adapt or perish

or just be lazy and get up bright and early to stand on the welfare line

i'm never a number, society can perceive me as many things

i choose to not entertain because no matter what

someone won't like me, i love myself and god loves me

education is pointless if there is no relevance that will prepare me for this cruel world  i live in

regardless on how high the star, if you just reach it, somehow, you'll touch it

Society wants us to be successful when we are in dept with no support

because we live in a world where nobody cares
