Hopeful Snowflakes

They say I have too much hope.

They say I'm a dreamer.

But when I look out my window,

on a starry night,

I can only see each snowflake fall one by one.

On a starlit night

I find my hope in between

the time it takes for a snowflake to fall

and melt on the pavement

or as each snow star collides.

As the position of our lives change in orbit,

my dreams are opressed at night

but free when the streaks of

Warm Love touch my face.

When Earth rotates towards me,

I will find my hope kissing my cheeks.

And this hope will kiss the hearts of all

because I want the world to walk down the white palace rug

of forgiveness.
