Hidden lies

Hidden Lies

The present is cheap,

The future looks bleak.

An image of solace,

Is all the eyes meet.

In reality, it is a downfall.

The world can be simply defined

As an entrapment of memories,

She hands over her crimson keys

Wishing the traveler to take a silent peek.

Exposing the truths

That were hidden away,

If they knew,

Would they stay?

The cellar door,

Thought to be sinister,

Redefines the evil eye.

Because a minister

Can preach what he believes,

But you dare not think otherwise,

Or you shall vanish from their eye
