Heavy Thoughts

The weather is gloomy.

It hangs in the air,

Its unpredictable patterns,

Remind me of someone that I hold dear,

My best friend is this way,

It’s sad to think that she is hurt and unhappy,

Much like the weather,

It’s unbearable to know that her mind is heavy,

Like the clouds that hang in the sky.

They hang on a string threatening rain to fall,

But I hope if it does, she doesn’t,

I want her to smile and be happy

And maybe if she was the sun would shine.

This poem is very well written. Just remember to be a pair of ears because sometimes that's all people with depression want.
