My heart is dripping as it melts, like ice to water

Like molten metal burning red, no longer able to protect itself

Though if she were to let go I would surely perish

I trust the height at which the angel carries me

To trust is not my nature, yet trust is all I can have

Though I grip her wings tightly and pull myself closer,

I know she could will me to fall

And fall I would with sorrowful acceptance

For my heart has melted as I never thought it could

And how my heart is dripping for you

And now your wings are staining

The warmth and comfort of love is a bit too painful

But I wish to burn here forever in the wings of an angel
