Healed

From all the pain that you have caused me, I finally learned that I don’t need you

I learned that all the words that you have spoken, does not compare to the ones he uses

He made me feel all the beautiful things that poets write on their sonnets

While you made me feel choked and restricted from living

He showed me the world with both of his palms and without asking, he wanted to give it to me

You showed me the world too but you showed me that it revolved only around you

I tell myself I don't need you and I don't need anyone ever again

I don't need you, you’re the monster under my bed,

But look, he isn’t a monster he is my savior that I needed and wanted

You were just another bad dream but he has awoken me into this beautiful reality
