GREET THE DAY SCHOLARSHIP SLAM: My Motivation

When I struggle to get going, she helps me greet the day

She promises adventures, that will make things all okay

I know that I can trust her, her smile has never told a lie

so I slowly get up, and to my bed I say goodbye

We travel through a new world, and she marvels at all the sights

The wierdos have the city, but the beach is owned by kites

This summer day turns to night, the adventure comes to an end

we head back home sharing stories, of what we must do again

Tired now I tuck her in, so she'll feel okay

And in the morning when I struggle to get going, she'll help me greet the day
