A good moment

I hear it,

a slow pitter patter

It's dark

I see the light from the moon shinging in through the windows

The street lamps are lit

I press my cheek against the glass

It's cold

I rest my head against the seat belt

I listen,

as the car goes over small bumps

The rain starts picking up

The windshield wipers move faster

There is a faint glow from the dashboard

Soft music plays

The heat feels warm

like a blanket

Sounds slowly

Drifting to sleep
