Life tries to put me down 

Bring me as far as below the ground

It doesn't want to see me succeed

It wants me to fail, never to excede

But time and again, when life brings me down

I get back up, never staying on the ground

Because I don't give up, I never give in

I'll never fall into life's trash bin

There are times when I feel bad

Like there's no way to stop being sad

But those times always come to an end

As long as I help myself up, like my own best friend

I'll show life what I'm made of

I'll aim high and fly like a dove
