This Generation

Those who said that teenage years would be memorable didnt think for those who cant even be happy anymore.
They didnt think about the new generation .
They didnt know we look for hope at the bottom of bottles or maybe a bit more happiness through the magical pills that they give us.
They didnt think about how some of us looked death in the eyes way too early before they even found hope.
They didnt know we'd be dying slowly.

thats because nobody wants to take the time to realize that this generation is more than fucked up for so many different reasons.
i mean honestly.. this generation is absolutely terrible. for the most part, we have some priorities set straight now. but only because we're the quiet generation.
we believe in the stuff that nobody else believes in because it's stuff thats pushed to the side daily.
like gay marriage,
 like mental health,
like fucking everything.
we are ignored because we believe in the things that could change the world for the better but nobody is willing to listen to the quiet ones.
We are quiet because we know the old generation will tell us that we have it better than them.
But if you look closely it's the same.

if anything we have it worse. look at the mental health instability of our generation. i can speak for it myself.
i may have stopped cutting, but i think about it every damn day.
i want to starve myself so im skinnier and feel beautiful.
i want to feel good about myself. i want this generation to not be the quiet ones that get killed off slowly..because thats what we are.
Let's hope the new generation is stronger than us.
Let's hope they make it each day without feeling to please society

i sure hope so. i don't want to see anybody else go through what we do everyday
