We are the generation

In which the world has

Placed its trust onto.

 

We are the future.

They've been saying this

Since we were only children.

It's all up to us.

 

Some of us will be

Scientists, poets,

Writers and singers,

Politicians and

Animal right's activists.

 

We will make our impact

Somehow, someway;

Somewhere, and someday.

We must fight for our future.

 

We may see things that scare us;

We'll see things that sadden us.

But we'll get through it

So long as we stand

Together as one.
