The Future

The future is fraught with danger and delight.

Of things that will come and of things that only might.

All that is determined by what we do tonight.

By the choices we make, be them wrong or right.

Which one, I wonder, will bring me fright?

And which one will bring me power and might?

Sadly, I do not have such insight...

I can only ponder my choice in moonlight.
