The Frustration of One Who Does Not Understand

Location

I sit in your stupid class every day,

and I feel my life wasting away.

It's not that I don't like you- I really do-

It's just that I don't understand you.

You try to teach, but you're no good,

I don't get this material like I know I should.

Sometimes I feel like you don't care,

and your tests are seriously unfair.

They contain material we never learned,

and a passing grade has yet to be earned.

I feel like you don't notice me as you walk by,

Really, all I want to do is cry.

I want to learn and understand, I really do,

but I just can't seem to learn from you.

I don't mean to make you upset, it's just the truth,

your class is stealing away my youth.

I will continue to work hard every day,

and one day I will understand you somehow, some way..
