Listen to the shouts and jeers

Words that are used like spears

At home you let out the tears

These are your darkest fears

They mocked you until you cried  

Wouldn’t care if you died

Their comments were full of snide

‘We’re your friends’ they lied

Their day of reckoning comes near

I will have no need to fear

And when their voices cease

I will finally be at peace
