Set trends and allow others to lead,

young and Black in America thats two strikes against me

But, I keep moving as if my skin was light

Keep pushin' against all odds

Shootin' against the moon just to land among the stars

Predicted to be another statistic

I got a plan that seems unrealistic

If your dreams don't scare you, then you not dreaming big enough

I'm from a place full of lies and deceit

People will do anything just to eat

They will push you down, so they can live worry free

Hard to sleep at night when you not livin' right,

Trust me

Have you ever went to bed stress free?

Is freedom really free?

Am i really the only me?

Another me, could it be?

Is being a number better then being free?
