He said they’d last forever
And yet he decides to leave her
The pain, it began to devour
Her soul leaving her weaker

Tears of sorrow caress her face,
As she closes her eyes
Thinking to her self what a waste.
All those long lonely nights
Waiting, patiently waiting

Her pain is not dull but sharp
As he quickly moves on
Leaving her with a broken heart
He acts as if he can do no wrong
Three years wasted

He said they’d last forever
And yet he decides to leave her
