A Fool No More

I don’t want to be a fool anymore

To continue this stupid game

You call it love

But I call it pain

I don’t want to wait for you anymore

No more sitting in the dark, cold rain

You always said you’d be there

But you never came

I don’t want to be shackled anymore

Dragged down by your ball and chain

You told me you’ll change

But I don’t want to be restrain

I don’t want your love anymore

To get bruised, broken and blamed

You ask me to love you

But our love is not the same
