As I write a verse or lyric

I think of what comes to my mind

Never trying to think to quick

Even though the meaning is blind.

Sometimes I write what I'm feeling

Making the words come easier.

It then makes sense, all the wording

that makes the verse that much softer.

Watching myself write all these words

I see a beauty in the flow

of a small pen moving forwards

with a passion not going slow.

I love the feeling of it all

excitment, freedom. and calmness

that is as queit as nigtfall

Transformig to a small boldness.

I know I am writing good lines

When I see the flow of my pen

Move in a way that I dream of.
