Flawlessly Flawed

Location

Fat.

Stupid.

Ugly.

Fake.

These are the things girls call each other.

We dig and pry at others with our words.

We tare each other down, as if it will build us up.

But saying that some one is fat will not make you thin.

Calling some one stupid will not make you intelligent.

Saying that some one is ugly will not make you beautiful.

And calling some one fake will not legitimize you.

The thing is, as girls, we all know how much this hurts.

We all have felt the pain that simple words can inflict upon us.

So, as girls, we need to come together.

We need to stop saying these things because we know what we are causing.

Instead of breaking each other down, we need to build each other up.

Because each and every one of us is perfect.

We are all beautiful.

We are all intelligent.

We are all flawless.
