There is no such thing as "Flawless"

Because we are all tarnished with blemish

To me,

It is all about perception

I see my cup not only half full but quite attractive

Lemme put off the physical

Because I believe that's typical

No matter how you look, its what’s inside that matters

Without further ado, I’m gonna give you a sample

I have the power to make even the loneliest smile

Bad day? Not on my watch. Embrace me awhile

My heart is made of love so warm so bright 

My ribcage can't even hold it tight

The honey in my words can lay so thick so sweet

You'll need an insulin pump, to regulate me

I just want to be a blanket for those who feel cold

I want to be the homemade chicken soup for their soul

I can’t stand walking on sunshine when others are glued to the dirt

Come on take my hand friend, I don’t aspire to hurt

Now do you understand? I am a light without socket

Illumination is my only prerogative. Okay that’s enough time to put that in the pocket

I may not be “Flawless” but I sure act like I am

I walk like my feet only come in contact with sand

I feel so anointed, and anointed I am

I’m a queen, a pharaoh, the ruler of the land

I hold my head up when I walk, because I can

My cherry flavored lips are plump and soft

Every kiss I blow could put you in shock

My smile is blinding like roadblock cones

My teeth glisten brighter than precious stones

The hair on my head is a luxurious mane

All the dark brown strands create a majestic wave

Now don’t think I’m cocky because I know what is true

I have confidence in myself and so should you!

That is what flawless means to me

To be tarnished with blemish but still being perfectly me.
