Fit In

We wear a mask

and run the race,

To shield the pain

and hide our face.

We bite our tongue

and laugh out loud,

To throw them off

and match the crowd.

We talk like them

and gain their rep,

To make them proud

and move a step.

We all cut up

and roll again,

To be accepted

and to fit in.
