The world unknown 

I face alone

How will keep up?

How will I learn?

I am quiet, inside

Afraid of the world outside

But then I realize

One doesn't triumph unless he tries

Out I go, hesitant at first

But then only increases my thirst 

To discover what I never knew 

My newfound confidence, shining through.
