I forgot to eat,
So I lost thirty pounds,
They said I was pretty,
So the habit stuck 'round.
He forgot to care,
So I held his ground,
Thinking that maybe someday,
We'd not just "fool around".

I forgot to eat,
So he fed me worms,
Made my stomach rich soil,
So roses came to term,
Plucking aphids off my lungs
Just to watch them squirm.
If he's a bad seed,
He must come from bad sperm.

I forgot to eat,
So I eventually died
Losing all the wonder,
That I had inside,
If I couldn't wed him,
Then I'm not his bride.
A corpse in the flesh,
The coroner's pride.
