fear Yourself

That wind that creeps past your unsuspecting face,

The enigma that lies dormant

In the back of that empty shell

You call a head.

You’re not dreaming.

You’re not asleep.

You’re wide awake.

And I am absolutely real.

I’m the smoke that stalks you when you feel safe.

I’m the raven that lurks in the darkest shadow.

I have infested your world.

I will trap you in my claws and engulf you.

Drown in my sea of evil.

Fear my bloodshed eyes.

I am your greatest fear.

Look in the mirror and see for yourself.
