(Family) Victory
The little green house that lies next to the woods
The little old lady that lives next door
The neighborhood children screaming at the top of their lungs
As one door closes another one opens
But what if that closed door never truly shuts?
What if it creeps back open and allows the unknown to slip through its seems?
They think we can’t hear them, but we always do
They think we’re oblivious, but we all know the truth
The old lady passed away, the kids have grown up,
And the little green house becomes broken to a point that can’t be fixed
What’s next?
Years of repression and innovative isolation
Finding new methods to coincide with the idea that,
everything will be okay
If god loves us all then why did he choose us?
If a ring is everlasting, then why’d they take theirs off?
It’s tough to grasp an answer
It’s not easy to move on
We get knocked down and we’re covered in blood
But as the fight comes to a halt, we aren’t the ones face down on the mat
That is guaranteed
